Looking for a particular breed, type, age, size or personality? Tell the VPO Pets community what you are hoping to find. Active VPO members can submit their pet-search requests and receive alerts when new pets are posted by members for adoption or rehoming.
Stay Connected When New Pets Are Posted
When you submit a Seeking A Special Pet request as an active VPO member, VPO Pets will send you alerts when new pets are posted by members as available for adoption or rehoming.
You do not have to wait for someone to post the exact breed or type of pet you requested.
Alerts may also be sent when other pets are posted, even when they do not exactly match the breed, type, age, size or preferences in your original request. This helps members discover unexpected opportunities and allows the VPO Pets community to share information that may ultimately help connect the right pet with the right person.
Why might I receive an alert about a pet different from the one I requested?
Because sometimes the perfect connection is unexpected. VPO Pets may notify active seekers when new pets are posted by members, even when the pet does not exactly match the preferences originally entered. You may discover another pet that interests you, know someone who is looking for that type of pet, or help another member in the community.
